The Ministry of Health published today (Thursday) the latest data for the “Give Shoulder” vaccine campaign, during which Israeli citizens are being vaccinated against the corona virus. According to the Ministry of Health, 91,300 people received their first dose of corona vaccine yesterday. According to the data, the city where we vaccinated the most people is Tel Aviv with 265,855 vaccinators. Jerusalem, where we have so far vaccinated 88,653,000 people, is in second place. In Bnei Brak, 12,654 people have been vaccinated since the opening of the vaccination campaign about three weeks ago.

Of the 1.5 million vaccines distributed so far, almost two-thirds of the vaccines were given to the older population, over the age of 60, with 959,478 vaccines, which constitute about 70% of the population over the age of 60 in Israel. On the other hand, between the ages of 30-16, more than 180,000 people were vaccinated throughout the country, about 15,000 of whom were vaccinated in Jerusalem and another 10,000 were vaccinated in Tel Aviv.

Earlier this week, the Ministry of Health stressed that those who received the first dose of the corona virus vaccine would also receive the second dose saved when the first dose was given.
