Corona Projector Prof. Nachman Ash arrived today (Saturday) together with Ayman Seif, head of the Corona’s headquarters at the Arab Society of Baqa al-Gharbiya, to meet with Mayor Raed Daka. The purpose of the meeting, which was attended by representatives of the Home Front Command and the police, was to encourage the public to continue to adhere to the guidelines and call on the authorities to cooperate in the campaign to promote the corona virus.

During the meeting, the professor referred to the corona virus vaccination campaign and said that “we launched this campaign less than a week ago and have made great progress. We already have over 200,000 vaccinated, but there is still a long way to go and we must cooperate between the municipal authority, the HMOs and the Home Front Command. To boost vaccines, especially in places that are not big cities like Baqa al-Gharbiya. ” Ash also said that he “agrees with the mayor’s proposal to establish a joint center and calls on the HMOs to cooperate.”
Yesterday, Health Minister Yuli Edelstein announced that in the past day, more than 74,000 Israelis have been vaccinated throughout the country. A statement issued by the minister said that about 210,000 Israelis had been vaccinated since the beginning of the “give a shoulder” vaccine earlier this week. “This is just the beginning, we will increase the pace in the coming days. I thank the employees of the Ministry of Health, the health funds, the hospitals, MDA and the Home Front Command for their wonderful work. “Thanks to you, 210,000 people are on their way to being more protected,” Edelstein wrote.
