The Ministry of Health today (Thursday) launched a new campaign for obtaining a vaccine certificate, in which it is emphasized that “only a vaccine certificate provides an exemption from isolation.” The campaign explains how to obtain a vaccine certificate, through the Ministry of Health and HMO websites.

The ministry stressed that the certificate can be downloaded, only after 7 days, from the administration of the second dose of the vaccine. It will be available in Hebrew and English and according to international standards. Health Minister Yuli (Yoel) Edelstein: “Vaccines are open to anyone over the age of 16. There are no excuses – everyone comes to get vaccinated. Together we will defeat the corona.”
Against the background of the opening of vaccines to the entire population over the age of 16, this morning the Ministry of Health published the morbidity data, which show that 7,385 new verified corona virus were diagnosed in the last day out of 85,925 tests performed. It was also reported that the percentage of positive tests dropped to 8.9%.
The data show that the number of patients with a serious condition increased to 1,103, including 315 respirators. As for vaccines, the first dose of vaccine was received by 3,298,233 people, and the second dose – 1,906,925. Also, since the outbreak of the virus, 4,947 patients have died as a result of the virus.
