A 26-year-old Koruna patient from the Ras al-Amud neighborhood in Jerusalem collapsed today (Thursday) and died. An MDA team that arrived at the scene located him without a pulse and evacuated him to the shock room in the emergency department at Hadassah Hospital on Mount Scopus.
At the hospital it was learned that the entire family in isolation and an immediate examination, was found positive for Corona. According to the testimony of a relative, this is a guy with no background illnesses and it was found that he was apparently not immune.
In addition, the English hospital in Nazareth determined the death of another Corona patient, 23, after he collapsed suddenly at his home. MDA teams that arrived at the scene performed soul operations on him and evacuated him to the hospital in a critical condition. Intensive resuscitation attempts continued at the hospital, but hospital staff were forced to determine the patient’s death.
The director of the English Hospital in Nazareth, Prof. Fahd Hakim, said: “The patient did not suffer from background illnesses and was young. This is another painful reminder that the corona virus also severely affects young and healthy people. I and the entire English hospital staff hurt the family and strengthen her hands.”
Earlier this week, Hadassah Hospital announced that Osnat Ben Sheetrit, a 32-year-old young corona patient who was in her 30th week of pregnancy, had died in the hospital’s intensive care unit. The hospital staff’s efforts to revive the fetus were also unsuccessful. She was hospitalized due to respiratory distress in the intensive care unit for corona patients at Hadassah Ein Kerem, when she was in critical condition. Her condition began to deteriorate during the night and she developed a picture of multi-system failure.
