Corona Hotel: Dozens tried to leave the isolation and were repulsed by security guards

Dozens of isolators at the Leonardo Hotel in Jerusalem tried today (Monday) to leave the hotel and escape the isolation in the Corona Hotel. The security guards at the scene pushed them back to the hotel and a riot broke out.

Yuval Peretz, who is isolated at the hotel, told News 12 that “the doors are closed on us and they threaten that we will receive reports and be arrested if we do not go up to the room.” Peretz added that she has been at the hotel since Saturday: “We were worked on to see an exceptional committee that left the airport. In the end we were convinced and of course no committee and no shoes for three days. There are people from outside here who came to demonstrate and support us.”

Concurrent with the riots that erupted at the hotel, Deputy Health Minister Yoav Kish today called on his Twitter account to abolish the obligation to insulate in hotels and move to a model of home insulation. “In light of the scenario, he explained that the vaccines are also effective in the fear of being infected with the mutation. It is correct to switch to home isolation and stop the isolation in hotels,” Kish wrote.
