Contrary to instructions: Thousands attended the funeral procession of Rabbi Wazner in Bnei Brak

The funeral of Rabbi Chaim Meir Wozner, who was the head of the Yeshiva of the Sages of Lublin, began tonight (Sunday) in Bnei Brak, in the presence of thousands who gathered near the yeshiva in the compound. However, in the obituaries is only the nuclear family. Police are on the scene.

The rabbi died after falling ill in Corona, and the date of his funeral was set in advance, when they knew that many of his believers were expected to come to the place. Earlier, the journalist Israel Fry of Democrat-TV said: “The rabbi lived most of his years in London and after the death of his father immigrated to Bnei Brak. They belong to the type of ultra-Orthodox public center, with a tendency to the Hasidic current and even Satmar Hasidism.”
