Conquerors defeat Genshin by revealing a new character

Genshin effect has officially unveiled a new character, Hu Tao, the 77th Director of Wangsheng Funeral Home who is said to walk the line between life and death, “carrying responsibilities unknown to most mortals.” ‘The publication concludes not only a teaser trailer for the character but a few details about Hu Tao as well.

At the time of publication, there is little information about Hu Tao other than what is mentioned above. That said, most of the characters who have talked about Hu Tao, have come up with a bad idea that paints the character as unreliable. In fact, a tweet from the game’s official Twitter account warns players to be careful around the character.

Right now, not only are details about Hu Tao – which means Walnut in Chinese – scarce, but we don’t know when she’s coming to the game. We know it’s coming soon, but we don’t know how soon. That said, despite not being in the game yet, she’s already cultivating the following, as will all the characters added to the game.

Genshin effect available as a free-to-play game on PC, PS4, and mobile devices. The game can also be played on PS5 via backwards compatibility, but for now this is the only way to play the game on PS5. Developer miHoYo has already confirmed that the game is coming to PS5, and Nintendo Switch, but for now there has been no word on when these versions will be released.
