Former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan is celebrating his debut on the silver screen with a Tamil film ‘Cobra’ by Chiyaan Vikram and directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, who has made big hits before. The film’s teaser came out on Friday, January 8th.
Cobra, who stars in Vikram in the lead, marks Irfan ‘s first acting. He plays the role of French Interpol official Aslan Yilmaz in the film.
The industry’s gratitude suggests that Vikram will be seen in more than 20 scenes in Cobra. Irfan plays the role of Turkish Interpol Officer who is after Vikram, the main role of the film, who is a math genius.
The filmmakers had plans to release the film this summer. But the pandemic ruined the resolution plans. The film’s crew and crew shot in Russia in March. However, as a result of the COVID uprising, they had to stop hunting and fly back home.
In addition to Vikram and Irfan, the film also features KS Ravikumar, Srinidhi Shetty, Mrinalini, Kanika, Padmapriya and Babu Antony. Srinidhi Shetty is the female lead in the film as well as superstar Vikram and Irfan Pathan.
