Clasp? The hotels that continue to operate in Israel

Yesterday at 17:00, the State of Israel entered a closure. Tel Aviv is bustling during the day, some businesses have received exceptional permits to operate under various claims and so have quite a few hotels throughout the country.
The Club Hotel chain announced that the hotel in Eilat will not close, just like in previous closures, thanks to a type of loophole that allows accommodation in the hotel, without a dining room, gyms or pool, just as if the tenants come to “live” in the hotel.

Along with Club Hotel, there are quite a few chains that allow long-term room rental, including some hotels in the Fattal, Brown and even Spot Hostel chains that are located in the Tel Aviv port. Alongside the chains, there are also private hotels that continue to host despite the closure.

A great many B & Bs continue to work under a “lease”, and thus do not actually break the law and at the same time continue to host. In a conversation with the owner of one of the B & Bs, he says, “I wish every year I had such occupancy in December and January, I do not break the law but also prefer not to make too much noise so as not to wake the dead.”

It is important to remember that there is a traffic restriction of only one kilometer from home and a trip to a hotel or B&B does not justify the trip beyond the permitted range. The hotels remain open, among other things, to provide accommodation solutions for businessmen and foreigners entering the country. Every day there are foreigners who get permits to enter the country, on some days it even reaches hundreds of passengers a day.
