Moshe Morgenstern, holder of the health portfolio in the Bnei Brak municipality, spoke this morning (Monday) with Ben Caspit Winon Magal on their program on 103FM about the stormy night in Bnei Brak, during which protesters stoned buses and the mayor’s car and even set fire to a bus in the heart of a residential neighborhood: “In Bnei Brak, which must not be seen, an explosive barrel was suddenly set on fire on Thursday and the business got out of control. The place of the criminals who burned the bus and made the lynching behind bars.”

How are you? In Bnei Brak there is shooting?
“The first part – the criticism inside. We see sights that should not be seen, it is not appropriate for them to see. Each and every one of the rioters and criminals and criminals who burned the bus yesterday, threw stones or almost lynched on Thursday their place behind bars, period, this is their place. Come in whether it’s an extremist group or not, each and every one of this gang of criminals has one and only place in the prison and so it should be. We say the same things yesterday at the conference. The decisions were first to criticize us and say about our public behaving wrong and hurting me – we “Working with the police for 10 months hand in hand. Suddenly on Thursday an explosive barrel was set on fire and the business got out of control and we need to think urgently about how to take the situation back.”
How many institutions are open in Bnei Brak?
“Not too much, the majority of the ultra-Orthodox public is now closed. Rabbi Kanievsky’s order to close in this case is completely carried out. He ordered yesterday not to go to demonstrations. We will see what happens.”
When?
“Yesterday, MK Gafni at a meeting with members of the council began his remarks on this. I hope they hear from Rabbi Kanievsky reserved for the public. It’s a bit of a recklessness that you start and the guys upstairs say ‘action’ “.
Let’s go back to open institutions.
“Private non-municipal schools, those that belong to the mainstream in the ultra-Orthodox sector that obeys Rabbi Kanievsky, are closed. Those who are open are the truly Jerusalem faction.”
Vizhnitz.
“I do not know because he spoke on Saturday, I really do not know but most of the educational institutions in the ultra-Orthodox sector are closed and those that are not – there are police and they are supposed to enforce, it is not our job.”
How to relax?
“Doing work from the mayor’s house working with the police, turning to the heads of the yeshivot, the directors of the institutions to the heads of the crowd and trying to get the public to calm down. There were calls from rabbis, we are trying to go back to Thursday morning or a few years ago. “Hopefully we will succeed. The police took it too far, when the same gang rioted on Thursday night the mayor contacted the police and said we will bring the people and that is what happened yesterday they were extradited by the heads of their institutions”.
It would be unthinkable to lynch the cops, they had to bring back the deterrent.
“Do not be wise and be right.”
There is no ability to impose sanctions on institutions?
“No, it’s private institutions.”
Do you receive money from the state?
“No, no. We have no control over them otherwise we would have done.”
