Clarice Trailer: The Silence of the Lambs sequel series looks great

The first trailer for Clarice is out. A spinoff and sequel to the 1991 film The Silence of the Lambs, the upcoming TV show is about Jodie Foster ‘s character, Clarice Starling. The presenter is Elizabeth Klaviter.

In Clarice, Rebecca Breeds plays the title role. Kal Penn, Nick Sandow, Michael Cudlitz and Lucca de Oliveira will also be in the show.

Clarice is set a year after the events of the original film and Clarice investigates serial killers and sexual predators, all the while handling Washington DC politics.

The trailer looks promising, and Rebecca seems to be up to the task. Clearly, Clarice is still dealing with her experiences with Hannibal and Buffalo Bill, and she has not recovered. Although she uses what Hannibal has taught her in her research.

The one-and-a-half minute clip reveals the themes and tone of the original film in a good way.

Overall, Clarice looks good.

The official summary states, “Set a year after the events of The Silence of the Lambs, join Agent Clarice Starling in this new psychological thrush that takes a deep dive into her personal story. The series will take you on your return to the field in search of serial killers and sex predators as they navigate the high political world of Washington, DC. ”

Clarice will arrive at CBS in the US on February 11, 2021.
