Claressa Shields is up against Katie Taylor in a battle of world champions without a doubt ‘certainly possible’, says American star promoter Dmitriy Salita.
Shields became the undisputed first champion in two weight divisions at the weekend after winning closing points over Marie-Eve Dicaire to win the world pre-welterweight titles.
The undefeated 25-year-old now wants another historic challenge that could lead to a big showdown with Taylor, the undisputed lightweight champion, who has fought in two divisions under Shields at 140lbs.

Shields has questioned whether Taylor can handle offensive opponents when she considers her a superhero.
