Charlie Condou at Coronation Street says former co-star was ‘zero’

Charlie Condou has sparked profiteering after mocking him as the most ‘worst’ celebrity he’s ever met as a co-star with whom he worked closely.

The Coronation Street Star, 48, took to Twitter Saturday to ask fans who is the best and worst man they have ever met.

He named Viggo Mortensen as the most beautiful celebrity face he has ever worked on, declaring that the Fantastic Captain, 62, is ‘the very best’.

But Charlie, who played the midwife Marcus Dent in an ITV show, was more coy when talking about the ‘worst’ celebrity he had ever met, just saying he had been work with the offender for a ‘long time’.

He wrote: ‘Taking my opinion from @BridgLondon, what was the best celebration you met? And who is the worst?

‘Nicest – Viggo Mortensen was the best when I worked with him.

‘Nastiest – someone I’ve worked closely with for a long time …..’

Vicky Entwistle, who plays Janice Battersby on the Manchester-based soap, responded by tweeting, ‘I know! X ‘

While other fans began to speculate as to what they thought was an ‘evil’ celebrity, with many claiming that Street was one of the co-stars. Charlie’s Coronation.

Some fans even posted pictures of Antony Cotton, who starred as Charlie’s love interest on the Sean Tully screen in the long-running soap opera.

Despite the ongoing profiteering, Charles has been adamant and has not confirmed or denied who he was talking about.

It has previously been reported that the lovers on the screen did not see eye to eye while they were together on Coronation Street.

In 2013, there seemed to be controversy between the constellations after Charles criticized what Antony was posting pictures of his food on social media.

However, Charlie had denied that his comments were directed at Antony after the news broke a tension between the two soap stars.

A source told The Mirror about a similar conflict at the time, saying:It’s an open secret that Antony and Charlie don’t see eye to eye.

Charlie Marcus Dent played on the ITV show from 2007–08 and 2011–2014, until he left to spend more time with a family living in north London.

His character had a number of interesting stories, including on-screen romances by Sean Tully (Antony Cotton), Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) and Todd Grimshaw (Bruno Langley).

Last year, Charlie told Lorraine Kelly of his decision to leave Coronation Street, saying: ‘My time on Corrie was great but it was hard to be in Manchester, my family and I children down here and I didn’t get a chance to see them, that’s why I left. ‘

Charlie raises his two Georgia children, ten, and Hal, seven, born with the help of his friend Catherine Kanter, along with his husband Cameron Laux.

Georgia and Hal were born after IVF treatment and the sisters split the time between Charlie and Cameron and their mother, who lives nearby.

Charlie told Lorraine: ‘I didn’t have gay people with children when I was growing up. It was nice that I was out here talking about it. It has changed now.

‘Younger generations of gay men and women and the transgender community become parents and I think it’s a miracle.’

Charlie also talked about how he started working as a waitress after leaving Coronation Street to support his children and pay their mortgage.

The star, who became a household name with his long portrait of midwife Marcus Dent, was forced to take the job after his acting job dried up.
