In honor of the occasion, the American brewery, Budweiser, has produced a special edition of 644 individual beer bottles, sent to goalkeepers who have absorbed Messi, and in this glorious list you will find big names like Iker Casillas, Jan Obelek, Kaylor Bass, Gianluigi Buffon, Manuel Neuer, Thibaut Courtois, David de Haa, and more.
Buffon, who has held up well against Messi throughout his career, receiving from him “only” two bottles, tweeted: “Thanks for the beers, I’ll take that as a compliment. We’ve had great fights over the years! Congratulations on breaking the record with 644 Messi goals, it’s an incredible achievement . for life!”.
