Joe Russo has clarified what exactly happened to the outcome of the Captain America story arc in Avengers: Endgame. Steve Rogers was last seen Chris Evans handing over his shield and possibly the American Captain ‘s suit to Anthony Mackie’ s Sam Wilson / Falcon at the end of the film.
