Capcom Insider supports previous applications of Switch “Focus” Resident Evil Shows 3

Resident evil demonstrations

Last year, Capcom suffered a leak revealing a so-called game Resident Dispute scheduled for Q4 2021 release.

As previously stated by Capcom insider Dusk Golem, this title appears to be Resident Evil Demonstrations 3 (or at least it was first announced at some point during development) and will be a “Switch-focused RE game” but not just for the platform.

The same defender has now backed previous claims – saying the game will arrive “within a year of [Resident Evil] Village Release “which is due in May this year, and will be part of Capcom ‘s big 25th anniversary celebrations for the long – lived series of horror series.

“This is not from me, but for the record, Show 3 is coming out within a year of the Village release date, either in late 2021 or early 2022.

“Announcements as part of their 25th anniversary, along with Village, will almost certainly be in the Switch schedule. But that will be announced later this year, for now Village deserves attention, and out in a few months now! “

Dusk Golem goes on to describe how the “100%” game runs on the RE Engine used by Capcom Monster Hunter Promotion and although “timed exclusive”, it releases “everything” as a cross-generational game. It was also mentioned how Rebecca would still be the main character:

“I first heard about Rev 3 in 2017 that it’s a Rebecca star, and I’ve updated several times over the years that it’s still a Rebecca game. I’m half-aware of who the 2nd & 3rd main characters too, both returning characters, but those lips are on the move for now. “

Dusk Golem had previously shed light on a new Monster Hunter game for Switch long before the official release – explaining how it would run on the RE Engine.

The last entry was on the Exhibits line Resident Evil Demonstrations 2 – a documentary catch on the horror series Survival, which first launched in 2015 and surfaced in Switch in 2017.
