Canelo Alvarez vs Callum Smith fight results: Live boxing updates, scorecard, start time, subcard

The biggest star in boxing returns 2020 on Saturday when Canelo Alvarez challenges Callum Smith for a pair of truly mediocre titles. The fight takes place inside the Alamodome in San Antonio with a socially distant crowd as high school WBA title holder Alvarez looks to put the full WBA Smith title at 168 pound and empty crown WBC.

Brotherless Smith is the younger brother of Liam Smith, who stopped Alvarez in 2016 to win a world title at 154 pounds. This fight marks the first for Alvarez since he became a free agent on network and advertising. It will also serve as Alvarez’s only fight in 2020 after closing out 2019 with TKO tudding of Sergey Kovalev at light heavyweight.
