The record for the number of squad killings in a single game on Call of Duty: Warzone was broken in impressive fashion.
US-based climber Aydan Conrad had already earned a worldwide reputation for Solos vs Quads, Trios vs Quads with 150 players and Trios vs Quads with 200 players. However, he has now taken the Quads world record, along with his teammates.
In this scenario, a squad of four splits into two pairs to see which two can get the most kills in a single game.
The previous mark of 143 killings was canceled by Aydan and his team. Together, along with other well-known gamers ScummN, Newbz and Almond, Aydan led an almost incredible 162 kill to set a frightening new criterion in mode.
Teamwork, however, was definitely the name of the game, as Aydan had to be brought back from the Gulag several times with his teammates killing himself.
Aydan proudly announced this latest achievement to his more than 625,000 followers on Twitter, writing: “New Squad World Record of 162 kills with @ScummN, @Almxnd_ and @TBE_Newbzz in $ bet 500. DO NOT BREAK THIS… “
Quality Level questioned
There has been strong online discussion about the quality of the lobby in which the register was set up, however. This was something Aydan himself knew at the time.
“That lobby was a negative 10 bronze!” Aydan confessed to the stream. “We were blessed with the lobby. It was a bot lobby.”
Bronze lobbying is classified as one of the easiest conditions for competition. With that said, the fast pace at which Aydan and his team were killing markets remains astounding.
While lobbying can only accommodate 150 players, replays meant Aydan’s team was able to kill some more than once – allowing them to rally their entire collection.
Warzone has been a huge success for Activision with the Battle Royale mode making a huge impact on gamers during the pandemic.
The newly established record will be hard to beat, but there will be no shortage of players who want to crack it.
If they are to stand a chance, however, they need to be lightning fast!
