If you want to maximize savings on your next vacation to an Asian or European city, consider one of three new limited-time limited offers worth up to 100,000 Avios on the credit cards of Chase’s chosen airline.
British Airways® visa® signature card, Iberia Visa Signature® card and Aer Lingus Visa Signature® debit card can earn a bonus after spending $ 3,000 on purchases within the first three months of account opening.
In addition, there are also additional offers on the Iberia and Aer Lingus cards that can earn you an additional 50,000 Avios, for a total bonus of 100,000 Avios. If you accept a value of 1 cent per point, the welcome bonus offers can range from $ 500 to $ 1,000.
And if you apply for a British Airways card, you may be eligible to win a Travel Together ticket, which allows you to travel less with a family member or friend. The ticket will give you a second seat for a fan of the same journey (same flight and cabin) when booking a flight with British Airways. The flight must start and return to the US (You will still have to pay taxes, fees and transportation costs for yourself and your partner’s tickets.)
Here is more information about the additional offers:
- British Airways visa signing card: Earn a Travel Together ticket after spending $ 20,000 on a purchase within your first year of account opening. (A Travel Together ticket usually asks you to spend $ 30,000 in a calendar year, but this offer allows you to spend $ 10,000 less.)
- Iberian visa signing card and Aer Lingus visa signing card: Earn an additional 50,000 Avios bonuses after spending $ 20,000 on your purchase within your first year of opening an account. If you earn all parts of the bonus, you get 100,000 Avios in total.
To be eligible for the Avios bonus, you must be a new card holder who has not earned a bonus for the card you are applying for within the last 24 months. For example, if you want to apply for an Iberia card and earn the welcome bonus worth up to 100,000 Avios, you must meet both of these requirements: 1) You do not currently have the card, and 2) You have not earned her Iberia bonus within the last 24 months.
In addition to welcome bonuses, British Airways, Iberia and Aer Lingus cardholders can win prizes on eligible flights and hotel stays within the first 12 months of accounts opening:
- Earning 5 Avios per dollar spent on purchases by Iberia, British Airways and Aer Lingus. After the first year, the prize rate drops back to 3 Avios per dollar.
- Earn 3 Avios per dollar spent on hotel accommodation when purchased directly with a hotel. After the first year, the prize rate goes down to 2 Avios per dollar.
All cards carry an annual fee of $ 95, but these welcome bonuses can put you off for several years.
