Julia Quinn is the author behind the successful Netflix series Bridgerton reveals that Shonda Rhimes was offering the historical romance novels a change to a Netflix show only because she fell for one of them during her vacation. A series of Quinn historical romance novels released from the Year 2000 to 2013 and the first book The Duke and I, was adapted for the Netflix series Bridgerton with the Anatomy Grays Shondaland production company. The series aired on Netflix in December and became a huge hit with sixty-three million viewers in five days and the number continued to rise.

Shonda Rhimes crossed Quinn’s novels
In an interview with Tamron Hall, Julia revealed that she was kept under guard by the offer by Rhimes. According to her, Shonda ran out of books to read on her vacation and somehow she fell for one of her books. She said it was crazy to think her life had changed forever because Shonda didn’t give her enough reading material on holiday but that’s what happened. Julia never expected her books to play out on the small screen. She appeared to be sitting at Starbucks pretending to write when her agent asked to deliver the news. She was shocked and fell practically off the stool as no one changed romance novels for the screen anymore.

Bridgerton A cast is praised for the diversity Quinn learned when she got the list for the show’s stars. Julia was even invited to share her vision while filming the show, reading the scripts, and visiting the sets. Her favorite time so far was to know that Julie Andrews was sent out to give Lady Whistledown a voice. Even though the Bridgerton Shonda Rhimes’ first web series is on Netflix, it looks like the ScandaThe producer is in for a long time with Bridgertonthe second season proves it. Bridgerton a web series is a steamy romantic sequence of the brilliant life of the Bridgertons and their wealthy English neighbors in the 1800s. Each of Bridgerton’s eight books focuses on a different member of the Bridgerton family. Season 1, based on the first book, The Duke and I, in the Quinn series, based on the complex romance between Bridgerton ‘s daughter, Daphne played by Phoebe Dynevor, and Duke of Hastings Simon Bassett represented by Regé-Jean Page. Daphne-Simon’s arc had a satisfying finish at the end of Season 1 with a couple of clippers to be settled in Season 2. Other Bridgerton Cast members are Jonathan Bailey, Nicola Coughlan, Claudia Jessie, Ruby Barker, Adjoa Andoh, Golda Rosheuvel, Luke Thompson, and many more.
