After the draw against Feyenoord, Eran Zehavi and PSV Eindhoven will try to return to the winning track, when they host today (Sunday) against Alkmaar third in the table. Eindhoven’s gap from the top, stands at 8 points, with Ajax having a game in hand.
PSV have lost their last three games against AZ, and if you look at it more broadly, the numbers do not continue to compliment Roger Schmidt. In the last 15 games against Ajax, Alkmaar and Feyenoord, PSV have not been able to win a game, league, cup or Super Cup.
Beyond that, Alkmaar comes in good shape as it has scored 25 points since the opening of 2021, when only Ajax (29) scored more points. Zehavi and his friends scored only 22 points in the above period.
At the professional level, Zehavi will want to start a new count after sitting down from the gorge in front of Feyenoord. The Israeli will team up with Daniel Mullen, Cody Gakpo and Mario Getza on offense.
