Boeing delivers Trio 777 Freighters to Qatar Airways Cargo

EVERETT, Wash., January 1, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Qatar Airways Cargo delivered three Boeing [NYSE:BA] 777 Fighters as the airline continues to build its product division with the world’s largest and most capable twin-engine incinerator. The milestone also marks 200th 777 Guards to be delivered.

The triple delivery comes as airborne products play an important role in the midst of COVID-19 pandemics – including the transport of newly licensed vaccines – and it is expected to increase by more than 4% over the next two decades.

With the advent of the 777 Freighters trio, Qatar Airways Cargo now operates 24 of this aircraft model along with two 747-8 Guards. As one of the world’s leading carriers of air freight, Qatar’s A dedicated rescue fleet serves more than 60 cheaper destinations worldwide throughout its globe Doha hub and also delivers goods on the deck of passenger flight to an extensive network.

The long range of the aircraft translates into huge savings for operators such as Qatar Airways Cargo as fewer stops reduce landing taxes, congestion, freight handling costs and delivery times.
