The protest of Bnei Yehuda fans against Barak Abramov has escalated. More than 150 fans came tonight (Tuesday) to demonstrate outside the owner’s house demanding that he leave the group and transfer it to new hands, in a pre-arranged demonstration in front of the police, who were present at the scene to maintain order.
The fans claim an ongoing disconnect from the management towards the fans and also towards the community in the Hatikva neighborhood, citing for example the Bnei Mitzvah event, the flagship project of the youth departments, which has been canceled in recent years. At the rest, fans shouted “do not want Abramov in hope,” and insulted the management.
The fans also claimed that the team had no professional ambitions and all the assets it had, such as Ismaila Soro, Mavis Chibuta, Dolev Haziza, Yuval Ashkenazi, Yarden Shua and more, were sold under Abramov, and in their place did not receive proper reinforcement.
Fan Haim Ashkenazi, who came to demonstrate, told Israel Today: “While it is impossible to get to the pitches, the Bnei Yehuda crowd came, in an organized and orderly manner, to make their voices heard. Despite the signing of Aboksis, we do not give up and demand better management and future for the team. And not just players from lower leagues and bringing the connection back to the audience. “
