Bnei Brak: The highest number of victims per 1,000 people

The rigid closure began tonight, when data on the spread of corona disease show that this is inevitable: Yesterday (Thursday), 7,597 verified coronavirus viruses were found, out of 124,848 test results – 6.2 percent.

There are currently 65,514 active patients in Israel, 1481 of whom are hospitalized in the corona wards of the various hospitals, of whom 873 are in critical condition, 285 in critical condition and 220 respirators.

The number of victims since the outbreak of the plague in Israel stands at 3,566 people, 21 of whom died yesterday, 210 victims in the last week alone.

The list of the leading cities in the number of deaths is led by Jerusalem, according to data from the Ministry of Health obtained by Yedioth Ahronoth.

In a survey based on the ratio per thousand inhabitants, the city of Bnei Brak, where 152 people died as a result of the plague, leads the ratio of the deaths per 1,000 Bnei Brak residents to 0.74. In Tel Aviv-Yafo, 198 residents died from Corona, a ratio of 0.42 per 1,000 residents. In Haifa, 140 people died from the plague and in Bat Yam – 129.

According to the Ministry of Health, 57 percent of the victims in Israel are men and 43 percent are women. The average age of the deceased is 78.6.
