Blue for Biden! Sunrise changes to Democrats’ colors for dedication day as Donald Trump leaves White House for last time

The Channel Seven Sunrise breakfast show changed its color scheme on Thursday to blue – the color of the Democratic Party – to introduce its special broadcast of Joe Biden as the 46th President of the United States.

While reporting on the day of the inauguration, the colors of the flag changed from the usual bright orange to the shade of blue country, as Donald Trump left the White House for the last time.

Sunrise had also changed their color scheme for the U.S. election in November.

Also on Thursday consecration day, David ‘Kochie’ Koch wore a light blue shirt and navy tie with pink floral details.

The other Sam Armytage anchor was not blue or white, but instead put on a red leopard print shirt for the event.

In June 2018, Sam denounced the media mockery of Trump, saying the unmistakable ridicule of a former American leader had gone ‘boring’.

The Australian Daily Mail has a seven-day conversation to comment on the color change.

President Biden, 78, said ‘it feels like I’m going home’ as he received the keys to the White House on Wednesday.

In his first speech as major, Biden pledged a ‘whole soul’ pledge to unite the country and said the US could ‘write the next big chapter in the story’.

He said that this story might ‘sound like’ the American Anthem song, before reciting his favorite verse from the tune.

‘We’ll write the next big chapter in the history of the United States of America, the story of America,’ Biden said.
