Oded Katash got Panathinaikos out of the crisis, when the Israeli achieved his third victory in the Euroleague, and he was the most impressive of all – a huge 77:88 over Olympiacos away.
In fact, her ninth victory in Europe has brought Pao closer to just two games away from 11th-placed Olympiacos. Even the fact that the star of the Greens, Nemanja Nedovic was absent due to injury did not change too much as Howard St. Ross successfully filled his place with 20 points and 5 assists. In the Euroleague, Katsch will try to achieve his third victory in a row (after Valencia and Olympiacos) when Pau goes into a not-so-simple away game against Zenit St. Petersburg on February 17.
