While recovering from an injury that sidelined him from Paris Saint-Germain’s clutch match against Barcelona in the Champions League, Neymar’s lifestyle is once again in doubt across the French media, this time due to sleep problems allegedly caused by his hobbies – watching reality shows and video games.
The L’Equipe newspaper wonders between the Brazilian star’s routine of life and the recurring injuries. Last month it was the newspaper ‘La Parisian’ that conducted its own investigation into the matter, and now the leading newspaper in France has devoted the headlines to the matter, claiming that Neymar often watches TV, with an emphasis on the Brazilian “Big Brother” and plays on the PlayStation until this morning.
“This is not a bad thing, but it undoubtedly harms Neymar’s image,” it said. In the last three seasons Neymar has suffered from 15 physical problems that prevented him from playing, sometimes even in big classes such as Real Madrid in 2018 and Manchester United in 2019 at the top factory on the continent.
The claims do not come out of nowhere. Neymar often shares his followers on social media in his daily routine and only recently tweeted at 3:53 am that he is going to bed after watching the big brother in Brazil (the late hour is due to the time difference). “His ability on the field is undisputed, but his lifestyle continues to be problematic,” the newspaper concluded.
