Bianca Belair became the fourth woman to win the Royal Rumble this weekend, and her win was historic.
As well as being the first Iron Woman to win the Royal Rumble, and winning the Iron Woman era for all Royal Rumble to date, Bianca Belair was the first African woman- Game-winning American. She is the only African-American descendant to win Royal Rumble after winning The Rock in 2000.
Reflecting on her history over the weekend, Bianca Belair said:
“It’s crazy. I didn’t know that fact until I got back on stage and Kayla told me. It’s crazy that I’ve never seen myself in this situation and I am here now and creating history in the process of just trying to be and trying to pursue my goals and in the process, I am creating history. Being part of a production feels amazing. Winning Royal Rumble and getting your tickets to WrestleMania is one thing, but it ‘s another thing that adds even more reason to it. and what you are doing. It is amazing. “
Bianca Belair also spoke about her reaction to winning Royal Rumble
Later in the same interview, Bianca Belair opened up what it was like to win the Women’s Royal Rumble game, and what was going through her head when she was in the ring.
“When I won, I was in a minute of ‘I won the whole Royal Rumble, 30 women in the ring and I’m the last one standing,’ that moment just hit me up like ‘ oh my god, I just won the Royal Rumble and I celebrate that. ‘And then looking over and seeing the WrestleMania sign, it hit me a second or two later I was like,’ Oh, wait, you’re going to WrestleMania, ‘it hit me at two o’clock was different and felt like a wave of emotions. “
