Beyoncé makes history with the 28th Grammy and more award-winning show events

Beyoncé became the most decorated woman in Grammys history at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards Sunday night ritual.

Beyoncé, who had nine nominations, made the most of any artist in 2021, making history with her 28th award. “Black Parade” won Best R&B Performance honors, putting it across the line set by bluegrass artist Alison Krauss. She also captured Best Rap performance by Megan Thee Stallion, who took home the Best New Artist award.

John Prine and Chick Corea won Grammys later in the preseason. Both were honored in the In Memoriam category at the ceremony, which honored the actors and the talent behind the scenes that have died out in the past year.
