Ten days before the elections to the 24th Knesset, the protest against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continues and also yesterday (Saturday), the demonstrators took to the bridges and intersections, for the 38th week in a row, with signs asking Netanyahu to resign and Israeli citizens to vote.
The Black Flags Association said that next week, just days before the election, there would be a nationwide protest event, which would end in a demonstration in Balfour: “In the face of the defendant’s attempt to silence the protest by petitioning the Central Election Commission, we call on the public to protest.
The demonstrators gather at various points around the country, including the Halacha Bridge in Tel Aviv, where the demonstrators hold signs with the caption “We overthrew the government, now go to the polls” and “Crime rule replaces at the ballot box”, calling on citizens to go out and vote in the March 23 elections.
