Ben Gurion Airport riot: Hundreds of returnees from Dubai refused to evacuate to hotels

A riot broke out today (Thursday) at Ben Gurion Airport, after hundreds of passengers who landed on three different flights from Dubai refused to evacuate to the isolation hotels, as stipulated in the Corona regulations. According to reports, the passengers gathered in front of the Exceptions Committee in the passenger hall at Ben Gurion Airport and a “bottleneck” and heavy traffic was created there. The passengers demand that the Exceptions Committee of the Ministry of Health grant them an exemption.

Following the increase in morbidity, the Corona Cabinet confirmed on Monday that all returnees from abroad will be required to isolate in hotels, in an attempt to curb the British mutation that has already arrived in Israel. From England a few days ago and is in home isolation, in good condition.
