Michael Ben-Ari, a former Knesset member and far-right activist, claimed today (Monday) in a video he posted on his Twitter account, in which he was seen outside a police station, that he had been summoned for questioning, and began attacking Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit and several Arab MKs.
Ben-Ari also wrote: “Read me tweets and talkbacks. Mandelblit can. Today I am, tomorrow it is you. Police of thoughts and mouth-clogging. “Interrogate. He will file an indictment and we will face in court the mask of the cursed lies.”
This morning I’m invited to ‘interrogation’ again, to read me tweets and talkbacks.
Mandelblit can; Today’s tomorrow is you. Thought police and mouth clogging. Odeh can receive terrorist money, will not be disqualified and will not be interrogated …

In another tweet, the former Knesset member wrote: “Interesting, this time I was not interrogated, for tweeting again and again since my interrogation. Rabbi Kahana was right! And for the next interrogation, I repeat: there is no coexistence with them!”.
Interestingly, this time I was not questioned, for tweeting since my interrogation over and over again:
Rabbi Kahana was right!
And for the sake of the next inquiry, I repeat:
There is no coexistence with them!– Michael Ben Ari (@drmichaelbenari) February 22, 2021
“Terrorism and political persecution”
In a conversation with our correspondent, Ben-Ari recounts the story that began about two years ago, he said, after Mandelblit recommended that the prosecutor’s office disqualify him as a candidate, on the grounds of incitement and racism. He told how he was summoned for questioning and even went to court, where he said he was “lynched”. He added that the attorney general had a period of almost two years since that case, to file an indictment against him, but chose to take action against him on the day the lists were filed, about two weeks ago. He said: “Mandelblit managed to disqualify me. Why did you not file an indictment against me if you had a ‘critical essay’ against me? To this day I am asking for an indictment, which we can find out, what racism is.”
He added: “To say about my politics, about my public statement ‘this is racism’, this is to look underground, this is political persecution. The prosecutor’s office, which is completely political, uses the police for political persecutionHe also claimed that in his interrogations, he was not allowed to speak.
