2020/21 in the English league is one of the most tense and unpredictable seasons seen in years and there seem to be a host of candidates to pick up the championship title at the end of the season. Although West Ham will probably not be one of them, but in the meantime they are enjoying the beauty of a season and after 1: 2 over West Bromwich Albion they are already in seventh place and a temporary distance of only five points from the top.
West Ham have put together a third straight win and conceded just one goal in the last four games and they certainly look like a team that will speak loudly at the top of the table until the end of the season. Again, she showed a lot of character and was not intimidated by West Bromwich’s temporary equalizer to mark another very important V.
West Ham dominated from the start of the game and climbed to a minute advantage within extra time of the first half when Vladimir Tsupal dropped a ball to Jarrod Bowen who finished with the chest. Mathews Pereira made sure to bring the Baggies back into the game with his third goal in three days with a beautiful kick from outside the box (51), but the end belonged to Michael Antonio who returned to matters after a long injury from which he suffered and scored with a fly kick from Andrei Yarmolenko (66).
