Beijing administers 10 million doses of vaccine

Beijing has delivered coronavirus vaccines to about 6.66 million people from 9:30 a.m. Sunday by administering 10 million doses, according to the city government.

More than half have taken two doses, and the rest have received the first dose.

People who have taken both doses are thought to have completed the vaccination.

Beijing vaccinated nine major groups of people on January 1 and later began public vaccination.

The city has a population of over 21 million.

According to the plan, the city has started vaccinating people over 60 and in good health.
