The last PlayStation 5 is on sale in India, and while getting one is hard, those who pre-ordered last month have got their units on the start day itself. The new owners of the PlayStation 5 have every reason to rejoice as Sony’s next-generation console is far superior to its predecessor. But before you start playing games, you need to follow a few steps to get acquainted with the PS5. It’s an easy setup, but let’s consider your guide on how to get started using your PlayStation 5, making the setup process as simple as possible.
Unboxing the PS5
The first thing to notice is that the new PlayStation 5 box is quite large. Cut the tape and open the top, and on top, you will find the box that includes a DualSense wireless controller, AC power cord, USB Type-C to Type-A cable, HDMI 2.1 cable, base which allows you to steer the console either vertically or horizontally and quick control and quick safety. As soon as you remove the box, you will be greeted with a thick block that protects the PlayStation 5. Remove the block and gently pull out the PS5.

Decide how you want to install the PS5
The PlayStation 5 is the largest video game console in modern history. It is about 39cm (15.4 inches) high, 26cm (10.2 inches) deep and 10.4cm (4.1 inches) wide, making it a large consul. Yes, you can position it vertically or horizontally but since the PS5 has an unconventional design Sony provides the base of the clip-on. If you have less shelf space, you need to figure out how to display the PS5. Laid down directly, the PS5 will be difficult to equip in smaller TV units. Installing the PS5
To get started with PlayStation 5, place it on a tablet or shelf. Of course, the console needs to be connected to the TV via an HDMI cable and the device needs to be plugged into a wall to power it. Press the power button on the console itself to turn on the PS5. The PS5 will then ask you to plug in the DualSense controller and hit the PlayStation button in the middle. Now select a language. Next, connect your device to Wi-Fi. This is done simply by selecting your network and entering a password if required. The console then prompts you to change the display area to the limits of your TV.
After this, the PS5 will prompt you to enter your game disc if you started to install a game while completing the setup. Install the game’s disc or skip it completely. Next, select the power options for the rest mode screen. Once past this option, your PS5 will start updating its system to the latest available firmware. After this, the PS5 restarts and you have to press the PS button again. The console will then ask you to log in with your PlayStation Network email address and password or create one. On the other hand, there is an option to use the PlayStation app on your smartphone and scan the QR code. Once you have done that, Sony will ask you how you want to change your privacy settings. To enhance the PlayStation experience, Sony asks you to share the user data with the company. You can also say yes or no to optional usage data sent to Sony.

It’s time to start using the PS5
You are almost done installing the PS5. The next step involves whether you want to automatically download video streaming apps like Netflix and YouTube. You can always update later. Then there is also an option to transfer the data from your PS4 to PS5. The process allows you to either connect the console to the same network or connect to the ethernet cable.
