The Brisbane Heat captain aims to return on January 14 against Melbourne Renegades
Brisbane Heat captain Chris Lynn has been ruled out of his team’s next six BBL games due to a leg injury.
Lynn was injured while running for a grip while warming up ahead of the Heat game against the Adelaide Strikers at the Gabba on December 23rd. Lynn pulled out sorely and was immediately torn from the field and had to be replaced as a bat-flip had already happened.
Scans have revealed low-level sluggish pressure and Lynn now aims to return on January 14 against the Melbourne Renegades in Melbourne.
Meanwhile, Heat’s England employer Lewis Gregory has come out of his 14-day quarantine after arriving from South Africa earlier in December. Gregory was unable to train during quarantine time and a decision had to be made with Heat medical staff on Sunday whether he would take a place in the front line against Hobart Hurricanes.
