The 20th round of the Italian league opened on Friday, but tonight (Saturday) the main courses arrived on the table. The first to mark “V” was Milan, who beat Bologna 1: 2 and recovered from a mini-crisis.
Bologna – Milan 2: 1
After two consecutive losses, 3: 0 to Atlanta in the league and 2: 1 to Inter in the cup, there was quite a bit of pressure on the shoulders of the players in red-black – and the situation probably did not get easier, when Zlatan Ibrahimovic missed from the penalty spot in the 26th minute. Luckily for the giant striker, Ante Ravic was the first to rebound – and made it 0: 1. In the 55th minute, the guest received another penalty, this time Frank Cassie went to kick – and he did not fail. Andre Foley pressed the Rossoneri with a shrinking goal in the 81st minute, but more than that the host could not achieve.
Following the victory, Milan promised at least another week at the top of Serie A, and next week they will host the last in the table, Crotone, for a battle of the edges. Bologna, for whom it was a second consecutive league loss, was left with 20 points and 6 points away from the red line.
