Bachelorette’s Angie Kent reveals her ‘swollen and unfiltered’ face in a selfie – as fans praise her for ‘honestly’ clarifying her skin condition

She is the old Bachelorette who was always open about her skin problems.

And on Tuesday, Angie Kent shared a photo to Instagram of her seemingly unseen look while suffering from skin pigmentation over Christmas time.

The 30-year-old posted two photos of herself: one showed her looking spotless before the holidays, while the other showed her looking ‘swollen and unfiltered’.

‘The pre-Christmas Instagram game was strong … against the reality of post-Christmas comedown,’ she wrote in the caption.

An undeveloped, full of hormonal pigmented flame burns all over my face.

‘I’m very skeptical knowing that another Christmas is gone and I need to get my ** ta ready for 2021, and let in a lot of pain and take in the lessons.’

Pigmentation is a common skin condition that often occurs due to hormonal changes and changes, and UV light from the sun can be stimulated.

While everyone is different, dermatologists recommend a number of treatments including serum and oils to help with the condition.

Angie ‘s fans praised her for lighting her flame so honestly, with one person saying:’ You’re beautiful and real, Angie.

A third said: ‘We love you for this. Post-hormonal pigmentation is not fun and is some of the most difficult pigmentation to treat. ‘

Angie also said she was ‘so grateful’ for the growth she had seen this year, possibly as a result of her high separation from Bachelorette-winning Carlin Sterritt.

She wrote: ‘It’s okay not to be okay. Nothing lasts forever, good or bad. So soak it all up, grow through what’s going through and embrace the movement!

Angie has been honest about her battles with bad skin in the past.

She receives facial treatment to help with acne scarring, as well as receiving a Botox injection to prevent fine lines.

Angie told the Daily Telegraph last year: ‘I’m not going to lie, I’ve fallen for Botox.

“I love some Botox and have suffered from acne scars so I’m all about getting skin treatments, but don’t expect to get a boob job. I am quite happy with my small breasts. ‘
