The chairman of the Yisrael Beiteinu party, MK Avigdor Lieberman, demands that Naftali Bennett and Gideon Saar give him and the public clear answers about how they will behave after the election.
“This is the first time that a real opportunity has been created to form a Zionist and liberal coalition that will turn the State of Israel into an enlightened and prosperous state and put it on a par with the developed countries in the world.
“The public is entitled to know whether Yemina and Bennett are Netanyahu’s protective vest? Will they join him and the ultra-Orthodox-Messianic bloc? Will Gideon Saar, who speaks of hope, in the moment of truth fulfill his promise to Litzman and Deri, whom he sees as allies?”
“The public wants to know whether its elected representatives are committed to a new path, which will lead us to the formation of a Zionist and liberal coalition without Netanyahu and the ultra-Orthodox parties,” Lieberman added.
In conclusion, Lieberman noted, “Elected officials are required to give clear answers and not in the form of ‘I do not rule out’ or ‘I do not deal with it now.’ I addressed them in person and have not yet received an answer, but the public is entitled to clear and evasive answers.”
