Author Samuel Peralta’s books launch Temporary Lunar Lander to the Moon

These works on the Moon speak to the idea that, despite wars and pandemics and climate turmoil, man has found time to dream, time to create art.

The books of Canadian author and producer Samuel Peralta on a time capsule heading for the Moon.

As part of the Writers on the Moon (WOTM) project initiated by rocket scientist and author Professor Susan Kaye Quinn, the time capsule joins NASA’s own payloads on Astrobotic Hawk One Mission, launching in July 2021 on a United Launch Alliance rocket to Lacus Mortis, on the Moon.

Dr. Peralta, a physicist and business director who has spent more than thirty years in the energy and high-tech industries, is also a writer who has hit fiction on the Wall Street Journal and USA Today wholesale lists, and who the poetry has won awards around the world, including from the BBC, the UK Poetry Association, and the Canadian Poetry League.

“I was fourteen on my first launch, an Antares model rocket pack powered by a thumb-sized Estes engine,” said Dr. Peralta. “Now I’m on a United Launch Alliance rocket with BE-4 engines made by Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin. Wow. ”

At the heart of Dr. Peralta’s payroll is ‘Memory’s Children’, a collection of his short stories, essays and poetry, as well as the 21 volumes of his ‘Future Chronicles’ collections, all major Amazon books.

By reducing his designated place on the capsule, he has also been able to import catalogs from art exhibitions he has preserved, pieces of music, work from the family of artists and writers, and screens from award-winning independent films he helped bring in, including the Emmy®-winning short film ‘Real Artists’ in 2019.

“Our hope is that future travelers who discover this capsule will find some of the richness of our world today,” said Dr Peralta. “These works on the Moon speak to the idea that, despite wars and pandemics and climate turmoil, humanity has found time to dream, time to create art.”

Featuring the writers in his collections, the painters and sculptors in his catalogs, the composers, the singers and the screenwriters, Dr. Peralta’s paid publication represents creative artists from worldwide, including from Canada, the US, the UK, Ireland, Belgium, Australia, Sri Lanka, Singapore, and the Philippines.

At an account of 417 writers and artists, Dr. Peralta’s Manifest 9 is the largest payroll of the 125 major paying authors.

WOTM database is in microSD card and captured in special DHL MoonBoxTM. The delivery is provided by Peregrine Lunar Lander at Astrobotic, through NASA’s Commercial Lunar Services (CLPS) program.

A launch is scheduled for July 2021 from Cape Canaveral, Florida on the Vulcan Centaur United Launch Alliance rocket. The lawyer will sit down in the Lacus Mortis area on the Moon, marking the return of the Earth, and the first mission carrying commercial payloads, to the lunar surface.
