Australian Open Controversy over Serena Williams’ husband managing riot with billionaire tennis statue

Serena Williams’ husband has re-regulated his sex with a billionaire businessman who previously said his wife was overweight and should retire.

Alexis Ohanian, co-founder of social news website Reddit, once again summoned Roman businessman Ion Tiriac on Twitter after Williams advanced to the 40th Grand Slam semi-final at the Australian Open on Tuesday night.

He followed a big display against Simona Halep at number two in the world, with Williams now just two wins away from equaling Margaret Court’s career record of 24 Grand Slam titles.

Ohanian once again pointed out that ‘it’s a good thing no one listens to that racist (clown) sexist Tiriac,’ after the tennis and ice hockey player disparagingly said last year Williams is not ‘moving as easily as she did 15 years ago because of her age and weight’.

He then said ‘yes she had some manners (Williams), she would retire. ‘

Tiriac was widely criticized for his false comments, but that did not stop Ohanian from raising the topic on social media again.

In reply, Ion Tirru, son of Tiriac, sent him a post open letter to a Williams man on Twitter amid continued criticism from fans who questioned Tiriac’s claim that he had ‘great respect’ for the 23-time Grand Slam champion.

‘To Mrs Williams’ husband,’ he began.

‘I read to tweet with a mixture of mistrust and insult.

‘The name Țiriac has a 70-year tradition in the world of sports and the gentleman you are referring to has written a few important chapters that have contributed to the tennis book through those decades.

‘From the player, to the coach, to the manager, to the promoter of the competition, there is and still is, at the age of 82, one of the strongest contenders in this sport of the loved one you misrepresent in the these embarrassing conditions.

His (Ion Țiriac) respect for Ms. Williams is appalling, as it should be.

‘She is and will be in history as one of the top 20-25 players who has made a significant contribution to this sport.

‘She has a personality that has opened many doors for younger generations of athletes, in all areas of sport and in all walks of life. For that, we are very grateful to her.

‘Mr. Williams, the only reason I respond to your unnecessary tweet is that words are misused and misinterpreted in today’s world through the various platforms that exist.

‘Inappropriate language should not replace free speech.’

Ion Alexandru said Ohanian ‘s words could be seen as throwing a’ mistaken image ‘of Serena’ s legacy.

‘Congratulations to Serena, well deserved, keep going and writing history in such a wonderful role, Alexandru Tiriac,’ concluded the brutal letter.

Earlier in the competition, Ohanian proudly showed his support for his wife by wearing a t-shirt in the stands that read the ‘biggest female athlete’ with a ‘female’ put on.

It left a clear message that Williams is a pioneer of global sports, regardless of gender.

Williams is widely regarded by prestigious judges as the greatest female tennis player of all time.

At the end of 2020 when questioned about Tiriac’s views, she said that it was an ignorant opinion, and that it was a sexual opinion, and perhaps an ignorant man. ‘

Williams ’tenth seed will take Japan’s Naomi Osaka for a place in the final from 2pm (AEST) at Melbourne Park on Thursday.

Williams won the Australian Open women’s crown seven times, with her first win in 2003.
