Those who do not try, do not miss. 661 minutes Hapoel Tel Aviv did not score a goal – this number is enough to understand the problem in its front, but to understand the root of the problem in depth we dug a little in additional data of the Reds and other Premier League teams to understand something about their efficiency.
We tested two simple variables: how many kicks per goal does each team in the league need in order to score a goal and how many kicks per frame. Hapoel Tel Aviv is, of course, in last place by a horribly considerable gap and it scored a goal for every 39.3 kicks per goal and 13.3 kicks per frame. Lack of a foot ends in the full sense of the word.
So who is the most effective group? Maccabi Netanya, which needs 5.4 kicks per goal and 2.6 per frame to score a goal. Maccabi Petah Tikva is high on the list with a goal every 6.5 kicks per goal and 2.5 per frame and Hapoel Hadera, which needs 2.5 kicks per frame to score.
And there is also an interesting statistic about Maccabi Haifa. The Greens present the most prolific offense in the league with 23 goals, but is it the best? Not sure. They have sent 168 kicks per goal so far which means only one in 7.3 kicks enters the net – fourth in the league – and one in four kicks per frame converted to goal – tenth place.
