The Gunners are expecting a busy winter transfer window, with a Spanish string tractor taking a look at creativity in the middle of the park
Arsenal have to play a waiting game to land Isco from Real Madrid in January, but they are close to agreeing a contract with Schalke for Chad Kolasinac.
The Bosnian defender is expected to complete a loan transfer back to his former club in Germany until the end of the season, with confirmation expected in the coming days.
The deal is now being worked on according to Arsenal sources, with all parties hoping for a speedy decision.
The Gunners are willing to move several players out of the squad in January, with Sokratis another one that could leave before the end of the month.
William Saliba, Reiss Nelson and Calum Chambers could follow Kolasinac on loan, while Arsenal would be open to let Shkodran Mustafi go, subject to a suitable offer.
Mesut Ozil is another player Arsenal are hoping to move on, but that result is still unlikely as the former Germany international remains steadfast in his desire to see his contract before leaving. -summer.
