Arsenal are ‘angry’ about Lucas Torreira’s lack of game time at Atletico Madrid and could remember the midfielder from the Spanish capital.
Torreira joined Atletico on a season-long loan deal in October after being thrown into the shadows under Mikel Arteta after suffering a serious ankle injury.
Having started just two games for Diego Simeone’s side this season, Arsenal bosses believe Atletico are trying to lower Torreira’s price tag.

Arsenal were under the impression that Torreira would play a big part for Atletico this season.
However, the Uruguay international has just started two league games and has appeared six times in total this season.
Four of those events came in the Champions League, but Torreira had to start every game on the bench.

According to Libertad Digital, Arsenal are ‘angry’ about the situation as they believe Atletico are trying to lower Torreira’s price tag.
The Uruguayan made 89 appearances for the North London side, scoring four goals and appealing six supporters before joining Atletico.
The two clubs have agreed on a season-long loan contract with no obligation to buy the Arsenal player for £ 26million in 2018.
However, Arsenal did not know that Atletico would be looking to sign Geoffrey Kondogbia of Valencia in November last year. As a result, Torreira dropped the packing order in Simeone’s side.
