Dozens of protesters marched through Times Square in New York City with at least one waving the Black Lives Matter flag and another in a fake police uniform with a pig’s head.
One woman kept a placard saying ‘Trump Lost! Fascists find out! ‘and’ Trump / Pence Out Now ‘among calls for the president to be introduced a second time to incite Capitol unrest.

The NYC protest came a day after a clash between Trump supporters and Antifa militants in San Diego, where rocks, bottles and eggs were thrown at police at what was declared an illegal assembly.
Television footage showed Antifa protesters with a black cover throwing a folded chair and spraying a chemical irritant at another group of people on the Pacific Beach boardwalk.
In Washington, the Capitol has been surrounded by fences after the Trump-backed mob overcame the scaffolding that preceded Biden’s swearing in on Jan. 20.
The establishment has already been postponed because of the pandemic and it is far more out of the ordinary as Trump will not be present until his follower sees the oath.
A few organizations have filed applications for prosecution licenses with the National Park Service for the inauguration, including a group called ‘Let America Hear Us Roar for Trump’ which seeks to ‘support the President our seat. ‘
In November, Proud Boys head coach Enrique Tarrio promised to send his members to the inauguration questioned as Biden’s supporters to cause chaos.
But with Tarrio banned from DC for six months as a condition for bail and federal authorities seeking other members in connection with Wednesday’s attack, it was unclear whether those plans are still going ahead.

The mayor of Washington has called for more security around the inauguration amid fears that far-flung finishers are plotting more violence.
More than 6,000 members of the National Guard from Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland will help support Capitol Police and other law enforcement in Washington for the next 30 days.
The Secret Service is also monitoring security at the event along with other federal agencies including the Department of Defense.
Biden told reporters on Friday that he has’ great confidence in the secret service ‘and his ability to ensure the establishment’ goes off safely. ‘
