Ariana Grande won her 20th Guinness World Record title

The musician’s latest trick? Winning her 20th Guinness World Record title.

Guinness World Records announced last week that Grande’s latest award was “Most of the songs for the first time at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100,” with five of the her songs go to the top of the charts.
“What makes her recent performance so remarkable is that Grande is currently the only artist to have achieved this in history,” Guinness World Records wrote on its website on February 2. “Her influences come from behind the impressive steps she took in the entertainment industry, which started in her teens.”

  • The first solo act to take all three major positions simultaneously on the U.S. singles chart

  • Record popcorn in one week (USA)
  • Most MTV VMA nominations for Best Collaboration.
  • Streaming track in one week with a female artist on the Billboard charts
  • Most monthly audience on Spotify for a woman
Grande’s sixth most recent album, “Positions,” was released on October 30, 2020. Her single “Positions” hit number one of the Billboard Hot 100 by November 7, 2020.

Other No.1 debates of the pop image on the US Hot 100 singles card include: “thank u, next”, “7 circles”, “Stuck with U” (by Justin Bieber) and “Rain on Me” (Lady Gaga and Grande).
