Apple’s radical new iPhone is suddenly taking shape

The Apple iPhone 13 leak has already undergone a design, display, storage and upgrade update that iPhone 12 owners might regret. But now we know that Apple is working on something far more radical.

In a new video (rooted below), Jon Prosser, a popular businessman, reveals that Apple is currently testing a new folding iPhone and has a token on the timeline for its release.

“According to my sources, a clamshell prototype folds an iPhone similar to the style of the Z Flip from Samsung,” Prosser explains. “Shells of this device are being tested at Shenzhen Foxconn factory. I say shells of this tool because it is not the whole unit, mostly they are just trying to ensure hinge stability [at this stage]. ”

Prosser goes on to explain that this clamshell iPhone would have a “true folding display” with Samsung providing OLED panels for the device. Interestingly, Prosser says that Apple has tested a dual-screen device before and has yet to decide which format feature will prioritize it.

“I’ve been told we’re not going to get both, as Samsung is with the Galaxy Z Fold and the Galaxy Z Flip, so it’s just going to be one or the other. At least first. ”

As for the timeline, Prosser announces September 2022 but warns that the concrete production schedule is not at this stage.

All of this puts pressure on Apple to knock the iPhone 13 out of the park. Recent years have shown that iPhones are leaking long before they are released (plans for the iPhone 12 Mini first surfaced in June 2019) so if Apple wants to keep iPhone fans up to date the iPhone 13 former to be something special.

Fortunately, there are all the signs that there will be.
