Apple Watch: Get Active India Challenge launched

On the first day of every year, many are determined to stay healthy and lead a healthier lifestyle, but few have the discipline to follow throughout the year.

If you happen to own an Apple Watch, there is a new competition that not only promises to offer inspiration and stay true to the fitness mission but also gets a chance to represent their city.

The Get Active India competition is run by local Apple India distributors (Redington / Ingram) and authorized resellers.

As the user accumulates the points after completing the tasks, he / she can help their city rise up in the ranks in India.

Here’s how to take part in the Get Active India challenge:
Step 1: Download the Challenge App on your iPhone
Step 2: Enter the code ‘India’
Step 3: Choose the city you would like to represent as your team (the list includes Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Lucknow, and the rest of India)
Based on the individual’s body weight, participants are given a Move goal with the Challenges App (The Move goal in the Challenges App is not the same as the Move goal you set for yourself on your Apple Watch. )

At the end of each day, based on the points collected, the app takes out three badges – Bronze (40 points), Silver (60 points) and Gold (80 points). This allows users to improve the rankings of their cities.
