Apple Stores relieves coronavirus precaution, allowing customers to try AirPods

In a sign that Apple’s sales fleet is slowly returning to business as usual, Apple Stores around the world are once again allowing customers to try AirPods after they put a limit on such of activity during the coronavirus revolution.

Announcing Apple Store employees, Bloomberg states that buyers in the U.S. and other regions can test the earbuds before making a purchase. The option is available at Apple outlets that are open for walk-in, both with and without an order.

Customers in Asia, where the coronavirus has largely been present, have been able to try AirPods and other mobile phones for months, the report says.

Apple initially placed restrictions on earbud efforts in the early days of the pandemic as it took steps to reduce the spread of COVID-19. The policy also extended to Apple Watch.

When Apple began opening stores around the globe it implemented hygiene guidelines in an effort to protect customers and employees. Social protocols, residence restrictions, mask orders, temperature checks, screening, and mandatory cleaning of products were among the protocols adopted to ensure a safe purchasing experience.

By trying AirPods now available, customers can once again test their earphone optimization and choose the product that meets their needs.

Apple opened all 270 U.S. stores on March 1, though some of them are so-called “Apple Express” locations that offer limited interactions such as order building and Genius Bar hiring.
