During the conference call following the release of the financial statements, Apple CEO Tim Cook noted that the company saw the highest growth of upgrades to new models with the launch of the iPhone 12 series, when the number of immigrants from other platforms (Android) was also high.Examining the iPhone 12 family, we saw an increase in the number of upgrades and transitions between platforms from year to year. And frankly, we saw the biggest increase in upgrades we’ve ever seen in a single quarter“.
